Top reasons to shop at the Farmers' Market

Flavour

Local food is the freshest you can get!  Fresh foods usually taste better and are more nutritious.  Local foods also offer more variety and unique flavours.

Community

Great way to know where your food comes from and support farmers and producers directly. Dollars spent stay circulating in the local economy and have a greater impact.

Environment

Small-scale farms are more diverse and require less synthetic inputs, which is good for the soil and biodiversity.  Also, less food miles means less fossil fuels.
